PORTER!

BABY PORTER!!

This is after a late night for going to sleep and early morning labor. Baby Porter finally arrived today 11/30 at 1254 p.m.

This is my postpartum room decorated by my fellow employees. Don't you just love the maxi pads tied together as decorations?

Porters first bath...Tracey is his nurse. She was Savannah's nurse as well. Curly Blonde hair and blue eyes!

Grandma and Grandpa Fox were watching Savannah while Matt and I were at the hospital. They brought her by to meet her new little brother. She loved him!

This is Savannah on Thanksgiving and the day after putting up the christmas tree!

POLAR EXPRESS

Just this past Thursday we went to Heber and rode the Polar express with grandma and grandpa. Savannah had watched the Polar Express movie 3 or 4 times to prepare herself. She was so excited to ride the train. The cutest part was that after we got to the North Pole she new Santa was supposed to be coming. Everytime somone came through the doors she was watching intently. She was so excited when Santa finally showed up.

I just thought this was cute. Matt went to Japan on his mission and so we frequently have chopsticks around our house. Savannah saw her dad eat his punch with his chopsticks so she had to do it too! She call chopsticks "plastics". We couldn't get enough of her trying to eat with them! It was so cute!

PUMPKINS!!!

Okay, so i know i am really late with the Halloween stuff, but here it is anyway as i am trying to catch up once again. These pictures are of our pumpkin carving family night. We all carved a pumpkin (of course Savannah had some help) and the finished products are here lighted up. Of course Dad's is the most fancy, but they all look pretty good! Savannah was very proud of all her pumpkins. Even the two small green ones that Grandma had given her the weekend before.

Savannah spent the weekend with grandma while daddy went hunting and mom had a girls night in Park City. We all had a lot of fun. This picture is taken up at one of the state parks. Savannah was feeding the ducks bread and no one cdould help. She needed to do it herself.

PRINCESS!

Savannah loves to play dress up! Today her friend Taylor came over for a little while and they needed to "get ready to go to the ballet." Matt and i are not sure where she knew about the ballet, but oh well! They are cute anyway!

Fishing.....Again!

This is around the end of September. We attempted to go fishing again, but after about an hour and a half the wind kicked up, it was so bad that we sat in the truck for an hour and then decided to bag it and go home. Savannah had her tent to hide in so she didn't mind the wind as much. She just played and played.

Nicknames? I'm not sure he has a nickname, but if he does apparently he doesn't want to share it!!!

How long have you been married? 4.5 YEARS

How long did you date? We dated for 6 months, were engaged for 3, and then got married.

How old is he? 33, older than dirt! :)

What does he like to do for fun? Work on his jeep, shoot his collection of guns, and spend time outdoors with his family.

Who eats more sweets? It's definatly a toss up. We have a treat cupbaord...does that say anything.

Who said I love you first? I don't remember on this one.

Who is taller? Defintaly Matt.

Who can sing better? We both don't sing real well ,but we like to think we do!

Who is smarter? Matt is. I am always amazed at the things he has an answer for. Even when it is some useless knowledge. I guess that is why i don't like to play trivial persuit with him...He knows everything.

Who does the laundry? Matt washes and folds the laundry, i put it away.

Who pays the bills? I DO

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Right know if you look at the bed i sleep on the right. When we first moved into our house i slept on the left. Change is good right?

Who mows the lawn? Matt does. I might once during the summer, but it is HIS job!

Who cooks dinner? Matt usually cooks. If i don't have to work, then i will cook dinner.

Who drives? Matt always does, it must be that police officer in him, but i don't mind at all. I can usuaully get a little catnap in!

Who is more stubborn? We both are.. sometimes it makes things tough!!!

Who kissed who first? This has a long story that goes with it. I guess you could say Matt kissed me first, but it was after a short conversation and me sticking my foot in my mouth before he did!

Who asked who out first? Well, my friend really liked Matt so we all got together to watch a movie. I made every effort to get Matt together with my friend, but by the end of the night he took me home. The real first date by ourselves, i asked him out, we went on a picninc, but i couldn't carry anything because earlier that morning i had tripped while doing my morning run and totally injured my hands and knees. His first impression was "what a klutz!"

Catch up...

So i spent tongiht at work trying to catch up on our summer. This about sums it up except for one thing....we are awaiting the arrival of baby brother Porter. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Moab Jeep Safari!

Savannah is 2 1/2 years old!!! She is wearing her dress that Grandpa Fox brought home from Mexico! I'd have to say she is the cutest little girl!

Lipstick....

Savannah found my lipstick in a bag and decided she needed to put some on. She looked like she had a couple of black eyes for 2 days. When Matt first saw her, he thought cousin Hunter had beat her up since she had been at his house for a little while! I had to inform him of what happened.

YELLOWSTONE! JULY-AUG 08

We are swimming in the boiling river just outside of Mammoth in Yellowstone. The hot water from the thermal areas flows into the river at this spot, kinda like a giant bathtub! Matt, Savannah, and Krista sitting on the stairs.

The Cabin

Fishing at Smith Morrehouse Resevoir by Grandma's cabin! We stayed at the cabin over the weekend and were able to spend 3 days fishing. (Not the whole day....in the morning and the evening.) During the day we took naps and went on some short walks. Matt also cleaned up the property a bit and then we came home.

A DAY AT THE ZOO!

Savannah's favorite part was this elephant. The elephant made all different sounds and would unexpectedly spray water out of it's trunk! She thought it was hillarious!

On Saturday May 21, we took Savannah to the zoo! It was a fun day, but we were all exhausted when we got home!

FISHING!

On May 16th we took Savannah and her great grandpa fishing. SHe ahd a great time petting the fish, watching the worms, and splashing in the water! We only caught 4 fish while we were there, but it was still worth it.

I AM GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER !!

Savannah wanted to announce to all of her friends and family that she is going to be a big sister! This event is expected to take place on December 11th, but could be sooner (or later, but let's not hope for that!) This will hopefully take place just in time for the holidays so everyone can meet the new addition!

DIsney on Ice: Princess wishes

We took Savannah and her friend Taylor to Disney on Ice Princess Wishes. They both dressed up like princesses. It was a blast.
