Heber for a train ride!

Last week we went to Heber to ride "the train" with Grandma Shirley. We always have to drive by the train when we go to Heber to visit Grandma and Grandpa, so when we get to ride it Savannah gets so excited! We did have one breakdown while on the train, but i attribute it to the fact that i had the kids out and about all day running errands so they were pretty much exhausted. (no naps unless you count the few minutes here and there in the car!). Matt wasn't able to come due to his crazy, funky, awful, horrible work hours. I guess i should just be greatful he is working, but we do miss him a lot when we go do fun things. Overall we had a great time! Thanks grandma for inviting us to come!

Annual Water Party

The annual water party at Aunt Laurels house. Laurel put a large tarp on the hill by her house and runs the hose down it. All we have to do is run and slide! It is a blast that all the cousins look forward too!

The Cabin

Just a week or two ago we went to Granpa Shelley's cabin. We had a blast while spending a lot of time fishing...unfortunatly we didn't have the bait that the fish liked, but some nice guy took pitty on us and gave us some fish he had caught. Savannah was ecstatic about getting some fish and wanted to pet them. Matt went to clean them out and Savannah insisted on watching that too (even though i tried to convince her it was gross!) She didn't care and in the end she was holding them up and showing them off like a prized possesion! (Yuck!)...Porter did awesome just hanging out in the front pack the majority of the time, but my back payed for having to carry around 22lb 8 month old all day!

4th of July

On the fourth of July we had many spouses in the family working so those of us that were around got together, had a barbeque, swam in the pool, did fireworks while it was still light outside and we were in bed by8:30 p.m. What a geat night!
