Matt Got a Deer!

For my first hunting trip Matt took me to cabellas and got me all equipped to go out. The gun, the ammo, the boots, the gloves, hat, coat, etc... We had a blast going out early in the morning (and when i say early i mean like 3:30 a.m.) We hiked in the dark, almost got trampled by a herd of doe, and we got to sit on the mountainside while the sun came up! All without our kids. Of course, we had tags to shoot a buck and i think we saw 25 doe and no buck! Long story short we headed home after 3 days of hiking with absolutely nothing! Matt went out one other night and the hunt was over....thanks to some friends in the ward that got Matt a tag to hunt on their private property and he finally got to shoot something! YAY!!!!
