Update

I just thought i would throw a little update into this blog. So, here it goes.

Matt is still looking for a job. He has had several interviews and is going through the hiring process for a job. We are keeping our fingers crossed that maybe this one will work out. He has been a geat house spouse or stay at home dad, whichever you want to call it. I have had fun watching how Savannah and him have been able to bond over the last year. She is actually more well behaved with Matt being home than she would have been if i was home.

I have been working everyday for the past week. They haven't all been 12 hour shifts, but they have all required me to stay up all night so i am in desperate need of good rest this weekend. Matt is always good to let me sleep. Savannah just likes to hang out in my room and watch movies with me...all the t.v. isn't good but i get my sleep and she gets to be with me so i figure it works out.

Savannah is still growing and is as smart as ever. Her new thing is to give her dad a big hug and tell me "i don't need a new daddy, i like this daddy!" In response i always tell her that it's good she doesn't want a new daddy cuz we aren't getting one. Then she runs over and gives me a hug and tells Matt, "i don't need a new mommy, i like this mommy!" She is so cute. The other day Matt and i were getting ready to go to the temple and Savannah asks, "are you going to the temple mom?" I said yes then she replied, "to get married?" I said yes....i though it was really neat that she made the connection that the temple is where we get married. She is still always getting dressed up for the ballet and prince charming is always waiting for her! She has also been such a great big sister.

Porter is just getting bigger and bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if he got the big, tall genes from both Matts family and mine (i know my dad isn't very tall, but his uncles and brother are!!). Porter was pushin 17 pounds at 3 1/2 months. He is so big i have also moved him from the 3-6 months size of clothes to 6-9 months. I am getting a little nervous about how quickly he is going through clothing sizes. Hopefully he will slow down or he'll be wearing two year old clothes at a year!!!! He is now laughing, smiling, and cooing at everyone. If there is a sports show on he watches it very intently. He is very social and loves it when Savannah plays peek a boo with him.

that is all for now!!
