Okay, so i need to update....
We are doing well. We just got home on SUnday from the Jeep Safari in Moab. Matt signed me up for the ladies only trail and taught me how to drive the Jeep with all the fun gears and wheel lockers ect... We got some awesome pictures of a couple vehicles close to rolling and going down large obstacles. (i will post pictures later)
Also, last year we met an awesome family from Michigan. We exchanged addresses and mailed our pictures to eachother. Matt and i thought about them, but never made contact before heading out to Moab. On Thursday which was our first run we pulled up behind a red jeep and low and behold they had michigan plates!! It was our friends from last year!!! We talked and after riding the trail that day we all went out for dinner.
Savannah and Porter did awesome. 12 hour rides in the car three days in a row, Porrter had one small breakdown eachday from being tired, but both napped and did awesome!!! We slept in the trailer and both did well with that also! The only set back is that Porter got really wheezy and started caughing (darn Asthma!) which brought us home a day early. We are now in the process of getting it under control.
We celebrated Easter a week early with coloring eggs and doing egg hunts. The Easter bunny did however find Savannah and Porter in Moab with a basket of candy for each of them.
Matt talked with the Tooele army depot on Monday and it seems that his job application is still in the process. We are crossing our fingers on this job as it would be greast for our family....i guess we'll see.
Krista is still working full-time and training for the half marathon. I did do to well with training while in moab, but i did get one run in while there. I am running a 5K race this weekend with my friend Stacey.
Savannah is great. She is getting a little sassy these days and her favorite phrases are, "are you kidding me?" and "No way". We are working with her. SHe seems to think that chips are a meal and pixy sticks are dessert. WE are working on that too.
Porter is doing okay as well. We are trying to get his asthma under control with breathing treatments and such. He is getting better, if we go camping again the nebulizer will be coming with us. Otherwise he is trying to sit up and stand. I hope he isn't like Savannah and walking by 9 months....that was too fast!
We are all well and hope to find all of you the same! Watch for pictures!
