Dance Class

Today Savannah had her dance recital. It started in the morning with a dress rehearsal. During this rehearsal they took pictures of all the girls together and then individually. This was also the first time that Savannah had ever been on stage. So, of course me being her mom i was worried about stage fright, not remembering what to do, etc... Well after the rehearsal we headed home to get some lunch and during the drive Savannah and i had a little conversation....

Mom: "Savannah do you want to keep going to dance class after the recital?"
Savannah: "no, i don't want to do dance."
Mom: "why don't you want to do dance?"
Savannah: "I don't want to do dance class, i just want to do the stage!"
Mom: "you have to do dance to be able to dance on the stage."
Savannah: "oh, okay..i want to go to dance class so i can do the stage!"

She cracks me up! No stage fright. She loved every minute of it and when the recital was over she informed us that her favorite part was when "all the people clapped for me!"
I think she's gonna follow in her Aunt Amber's footsteps! she loves the stage!
