on the verge of a breakdown...

This has been a very long weekend!! I was looking forward to having some extra time off work to get things done around my house, but things were not as planned. On Friday after sleeping i got up only to find that my fancy shmancy blackberry phone forgot how to turn back on. I was phone less for over 24 hours and then had to go into the store to get it checked out. 2 stores later i had a new phone. It was a different color than the original, but at this point with two crying, hungry kids i didn't care about he color!! we made it home in time for the kids to crash for a short nap while i tried to clean up, catch up, etc..., in which Matt called and needed to take my car to dinner with the guys at work. (he was the designated driver.) So my free time ended up being cleaning out the children's toy/food./garbage infested car so he could take it. He ran home took the car and was off. When he got home the jeep had a flat tire....hence no break on Friday...

Saturday i got up and got the kids dressed, i then very skillfully loaded the tire that was my same size into the trunk of my car to go get it fixed. Big O took it and said they would be about a half hour so we ran to Roberts for a little entertainment and returned 40 minutes later only to find out they hadn't even looked at the tire...hence once again i have two crying, hungry kids in tow again!!! We went to Wendy's and had lunch with my parents. Porter crashed in the car from not getting his morning nap. When we got home i did manage to get them both to sleep for an hour in which i laid down with Porter because he just wanted to be held. By dinnertime i still had not gotten anything down when Savannah started complaining her ears hurt...they have both had boogery noses for a couple days. So off to the Instacare, then to walmart to get prescriptions for both kids....double, double on the ear infections!

So as for tomorrow...Church first thing in the morning, home to hopefully get some naps, maybe clean up a little since it didn't happen the previous days, and then drop the kids off at my moms so i can go to work! The Christmas Spirit is lacking and so is the money now!!!

What a crappy weekend...i hope next week will be better with Christmas and all.
