Today we ventured out to the new Winco store in Midvale. It was about a 30 minute drive, but i had heard they had really good deals and i thought if the deals were good it would be worth the drive...well at this point i'm not sure it's any better of a deal than going to walmart and price matching. Some things would have been cheeper if i price matched, but overall ig ot my 2 weeks worth of groceries, plus 2 hams and everything for christmas eve dinner for 150.00. so overall nott oo bad...the drive makes it sixes..
Also, Savannah and i also made chex mix today. About 3 years ago our neighboor brought us some gooey sweet chex mix and for the past 3 years i have been searching out a recipe to make some of the same. I think we finally hit it on the nose this year because savannah wouldn't stop eating it. I finally had to give her a little sandwhich bag with some in it that was hers! I put the rest away..of course we won't mention how much i ate, but i was getting a little worried that there wouldn't be any left for Matt when he comes home tomorrow afternoon!

Sorry about your crappy weekend! Savanah's dance pics are way cute though! BTW- my ChexMix recipe is hand-written by you! I think we made it as a YW activity one year and you wrote it down for me! I think I should make some this week- I love it!
